Whether you are coming to our office due to a referral from your dentist or a friend, or you sought us out on your own, we are happy to help you evaluate your treatment desires and goals. Our practice is ready to address your needs and concerns.
We offer a warm, open, and inviting space where individuals and families seek genuine, exceptional care. We endeavor to make your orthodontic experiences as rewarding as possible by using the latest in technology and techniques.
Every smile starts with an initial consultation!
Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Perform a complete oral exam, with X-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
- Help you create a customized treatment plan
- Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans
Our team will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and we will provide all the information you need to determine which treatment is right for you. Please contact our practice to schedule your initial consultation.
What happens after the initial consultation?
After reviewing your treatment options, we will determine if any additional records need to be taken. A digital scan or impressions may be required, depending on what type of treatment is indicated. Once all appropriate records have been completed, you will be ready to start treatment!
Placement of appliances can take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. By completing all records beforehand, we can ensure the start of your care is comfortable and free of stress.
We have designed our schedule to try to serve our patients and their families better. Typically, our longer appointments are scheduled in the morning; however, because of our many school-age students we try to schedule as many of the routine adjustment appointments toward the end of the school day or afterwards.
Missed and patient cancelled appointments
We understand that “life happens”! If you’re not going to make it to your appointment, are running late, or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Please understand that when you or your child misses an appointment, your treatment time may be delayed.
Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups, even during your orthodontic treatment. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care.
Our normal business hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00-5:00pm.
