There is nothing better than seeing a patient’s smile change and watching their personality evolve during orthodontic treatment. The changes are amazing and can be life-altering! Dr. Nikole Pecora truly enjoys meeting and building relationships with all of her patients, and seeing the changes that come about as people become more comfortable with their smile and improve their bite for long-term health.
Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Pecora attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. She continued on to the University of Michigan, completing both her dental and orthodontic education. Upon earning her degrees, Dr. Pecora was honored to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.
The field of orthodontics is different and challenging, and Dr. Pecora is always continuing to learn as technology improves. Since graduation, she has taken many courses to better understand occlusion (bites) and treating difficult, multidisciplinary cases. She also attends several hours of continuing education each year throughout the country to remain up-to-date on the modern techniques of orthodontics to help ensure our patients continue to receive the highest level of treatment possible.
